Shared online poker player pools may soon be coming a reality between the states of Nevada and Delaware, this according to Nevada's Governor Brian Sandoval.

Sandoval revealed to the Las Vegas Review Journal that shared player pools could be implemented within the next 4-6 weeks. Delaware currently has one poker operator, while Nevada has WSOP and a series of Las Vegas casinos that offer action.

"Sandoval said 'technical glitches' delayed the rollout that was expected last summer, but he has been told by Nevada gaming regulators it now is 'imminent," the paper reported.

There is also talk that New Jersey could join into a deal, as it presents the largest player pool and population, coming in at just under 10 million residents.
