Argentina's First Licensed Online Casino Launches

The country of Argentina saw its first ever licensed online casino launch this month as Casinos del Rio opened its virtual doors.

Casinos del Rio is a land based operator in the country, and partnered with Vivo Interactive to launch the casino, which offers Live Dealer games and virtual casino games to punters. The site is licensed by the province of Rio Negro and regulated by La Loteria of Rio Negro.

Players who want to play online can register online or at any of Casino del Rio's land locations.

Commenting on the launch Vivo Interactive CEO Martin Reiner said, "There is enormous market potential to add incremental revenue to our new partner by launching a regulated interactive offering in Argentina. Casinos del Rio and Vivo Interactive will partner to expand our offering to other land based casinos throughout Argentina."
