Internet betting group Paf has announced that it has signed a deal with mobile developer Buongiorno and will purchase the four year old betting site Winga.it.
The agreement between the two firms includes WingaTV, but financial terms have not been disclosed. Winga is an Italian online casino, which uses Playtech to power their site. Last year the casino, which staffs 30 people earned €10 million in revenues.
Commenting on the deal Paf CEO Anders Ingves said, “The acquisition of Winga is part of our strategy of continued internationalisation and expansion. We see great potential in Winga’s well-established operational base in combination with Paf’s international industry experience and broad range of products. As a first step, we will expand Winga’s product range to include additional casino games and betting in the next few years.”
Winga CEO Assen Diakovski added, “Our market niche within casino TV in combination with Paf’s international gaming expertise makes me confident that together we can grow the business in Italy over the next few years."
