Ontario's first legal and regulated online casino PlayOLG has experienced some launch problems for punters, with the site having geolocation and game errors throwing things of a bit.
The problems were reported by the Toronto City News, who picked up various tweets and forum posts from punters, who claim that a variety of problems has hampered the enjoyment factor of games. Players attempting to register are frustrated by having to enter all the information on their government IDs, cannot logon due to geolocation issues, and games have been broken.
Customers also complained about live chat and email support, claiming that it took up to an hour to ring a support person... when it was actually working.
Commenting on the matter a Spokesman for the OLG said, “Demand for PlayOLG customer service is very high at this time, especially being the first weekend since Thursday’s launch. We appreciate everyone’s patience at this time… the PlayOLG registration and verification process is very robust.”
