The Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority has announced that it has changed it name to the Malta Gaming Authority as part of an effort to re-brand itself.

The announcement was made at the Westin Dragonara Resort by Executive Chairman Joseph Cuschieri, who noted that the new name will come with a new logo.

Commenting on the change Cuschieri said, “The new name and logo will serve as a better representation of the Authority’s heritage, past successes, vision and values within the national agenda and in line with our strategic objectives."

The regulator also has a new website, which will reveal which operators hold official gaming licenses through the jurisdiction.
