Belgium Clarifies Live Dealer Game Legality Question

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

The Belgian Gaming Commission has clarified its stance on live dealer casino games, noting that the games are illegal when they are operated by offshore companies.

The BGC is informing operators who offer the games in their country to report the activity by January 16th, 2015 so that they can evaluate the games and inform operators as to whether they will be allowed to continue. The Commission also indicated that they are keeping track of operators offering the games illegally, and will take legal action against them after February 4th, 2015.

The BGC is urging operators to clear any legally grey games with them in order to determine whether or not they are allowed.
