Internet gaming firm Microgaming has announced that it has released a real money casino gambling app for Windows Phone, which can now be downloaded in the Windows Phone Store.
The gaming app will allow punters to participate in 35 Microgaming developed games, which include table games, video poker, slots, and progressive jackpot titles. The app is available on Windows Phones that operate using the OS 8.0 or 8.1. Microgaming officials said the app will continually be update and will be made available with the latest phone software.
The app is hitting the streets first with Jackpot City, and is expected to hit other operators in the coming year.
Commenting on the app's release Microgaming head of casino John Quinn said, “We follow mobile developments very closely and recent statistics show that the Windows Phone market share is increasing significantly across many European countries. With this in mind, we believe that Microsoft’s mobile platform is an important one to invest in."
