Full Tilt to Reduce UK Reward Points By 20%

Internet poker firm Full Tilt has announced that they will be reducing player reward points in the UK by 20%, effective from December 16th.

The result of the cutback means that players will earn 8 points per dollar raked instead of the customary 10, and is being implemented because of the new gaming tax being implemented by the UK, which requires operators to pay taxes on UK gaming action.

Commenting on the matter a Full Tilt Spokesman said, "From 00:00 ET on Tuesday, December 16th, the rate at which Black Card players can convert their Full Tilt Points to cash will change to $1 for every 250 Full Tilt Points. If you’re a Black Card player and want to avail of the $1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points rate, simply convert your points before Tuesday, December 16th."
