The state of Delaware has announced its November online gaming revenue numbers, noting that the industry saw a 42% surge in growth from the month prior.
The numbers are an encouraging sign for Delaware, which has seen its online gambling market struggle since launch. Still, the numbers are a far way off the high numbers that Delaware saw in April, when gaming operators brought in $240,762 in revenues.
Player registrations remained low in Delaware for the month, as the state only saw 308 new players last month, the lowest number since cyber betting launched late last year.
It is hoped that potential interstate play will bolster Delaware's gaming business, as the state has already signed an online poker compact with Nevada, which could be put in place next year.
