Internet sportsbook 666Bet has gone back on line less than a week after it temporarily suspended operations during a split with software firm Novigroup.
666Bet is back online due to the Metro Play acquisition that it purchased earlier this year. Metro Play is a sportsbetting and casino platform, and it appears that 666Bet is using this as the way to power the site.
666Bet launched earlier this year and is known for its heavy marketing presence. The group has already spent millions of dollars in advertising and sponsorships in order to help build its brand. The site carries licensing through the United Kingdom and Alderney.
666Bet CEO Barry Martin commented on the matter, saying: “This is the next stage in the development of 666BET. We launched with Novigroup back in June, but their platform is quite small and has struggled to cope with the number of players that have come in through 666BET. The acquisition of MetroPlay was a game changer for us and it made sense to move 666BET’s casino platform to EveryMatrix. We saw a number of sportsbook providers as well and we were really impressed with BetConstruct."
“We are now in a position where we have a bigger platform and a better, more engaging website for our players. It is our aim to become a tier one operator and we now have the platform to achieve that.”
