Internet gaming platform company Odobo has announced that it has added video game developer Spicy Horse to its library, allowing casinos the opportunity to offer their games as a result.
Spicy Horse is a Chinese gaming firm who develops fantasy themed games such as The Gate, BigHead Bash, and Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, which are traditional action and RPG video games to players throughout the world. The company is headed by American McGee, who is best known for putting out the classic video game "American McGee's Alice" in 2000.
Coming into the betting world, Spicy Horse has teamed up with Wild Game Reserve to release a slot based on their Akaneiro property. The game is a 5 reel, 25 payline slot that features 10 symbols, Wild Symbols, Scatter Symbols, Bonus Scatters, and allows players to pick up karma shards that can generate free spins or access the slot's bonus game.
Commenting on the deal with Odobo American McGee said, "I was determined that the game should reflect the thought and features that made the original so successful. I couldn't be happier with the result and without Odobo we would not have navigated the minefield of regulation to build this game. The team has handled all the necessary real-money requirements from maths to localisation and turned Akaneiro into impressive and fully compliant real-money entertainment."
Wild Game Reserve Studio Manager Mark McGinley spoke about working with Spicy Horse, noting: "It's been a pleasure to work with Spicy Horse on this project. It's been an exciting challenge for both sides with a shared determination to do this great title justice. We're really proud of the result."
