Lock Poker Averages Just 28 Players at its Tables

Internet poker site Lock Poker is continuing to implode, as it averaged just 28 players during a seven day period in October, down 18% from the dismal 34 it averaged in September.

The poor numbers were reported by poker information site PokerUpdate, which filed a report on the site's astonishingly low numbers. Lock has reportedly come under financial distress, causing slow payments to players and a lack of popularity as a result. Some reports claim that Lock owes more than a million dollars to 400+ players.

Big name poker organizations such as the Poker Players Alliance have even come into the fray as the group has attempted to contact the operator to find a solution for players. Thus far those attempts have been mostly ignored, causing the PPA to urge players not to deposit at the site.
