The Director of the Dutch gambling authority Kansspelautoriteit has announced that the country will begin allowing gaming operators to register an Expression of Interest in the market for when the market opens up.
Marja Appelman has made the announcement, stating that operators can submit an application on the Kansspelautoriteit website beginning on December 1st. Dutch regulators will then analyze each firm's existing website and will use that information when making a decision on an operator's gaming application.
The Netherlands is expected to be liberalized sometime in 2015, but the country has not yet passed a law opening the market to outside operators.
