A punter at Miami Club won a staggering $256,000 when she made ten correct choices in a row while playing the slot "Beat the Bank".

The big winner is named Gail, who started her lucky run when she scored 15 Free Spins, which kept getting parlayed into many large wins in a short period.

Commenting on how she got to the big win Gail said, “I got lucky and won $7500 during those free spins and that gave me the confidence to increase my wagers, first to $50, then $75, $100 and eventually to the max bet, $250 per spin.”

After she started wagering big she got to the game's Pick'em game, which tasks players with pick symbols to unveil cash prizes. Players are playing the role of a robber, and if they set off an alarm it is game over.

Gail recounted this round, saying: “I knew that if I picked the wrong safe the alarm would ring and I’d be busted! I could have quit while I was ahead but I just kept picking safes and before I knew it I had guessed seven safes correctly and won $32,000!”

After that huge win Gail decided to keep going, hitting the Free spins again and then proceeding to the Pick'em Game, taking home $256,000 in the process.

The staff at Miami Club was shocked to see the win, with the casino's Manager of Player Relations Stephen Vaughn saying: "We knew something was going on. We'd seen Gail win a few times that evening and she was really going for it. But watching her get the ten in a row correct was a treat for all of us. We'd never seen that happen. She was betting the game maximum so it was a huge result. Really exciting for us -- the whole place is still buzzing!"
