A few days after New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced that he had declared sports betting to be legal within his state fellow politicians are jumping on board with plans to introduce legislation that backs up the Governor.
New Jersey State Senator and outspoken gambling proponent Ray Lesniak announced that he would be introducing legislation that clarifies New Jersey's budding sports betting industry, abolishing rules that prohibit Atlantic City casinos or racetracks within the state from taking sports bets from clients.
