Internet poker site Mansion Poker has announced that it is pulling out of the UK gaming market effective September 15th, nothing that impending changes to the regulatory infrastructure led to its leaving.

The announcement was made by Mansion Poker in an email to its customers, which read:

"Due to changing regulations regarding online gaming in the United Kingdom, we must inform you that Mansion Poker is required to close its doors to UK players on September 15th, 2014. As a result, we kindly request that you withdraw any and all funds you have in your Mansion Poker account."

Current Mansion players in the UK are being referred to TitanBet Poker, allowing players the opportunity to keep their VIP status as well as receiving a 200% match bonus.

The UK government has initiated the pullout of many betting regulators who are worried about the country's impending online gambling reforms which will require operators to have licensing within the UK if they service British punters. There is a steep 15% tax on revenues for licensees, which is resulting in the pullouts.
