GoWild Pulls Out of UK, Sells Player List to 32Red

Internet casino GoWild has announced that it is pulling out of the United Kingdom gambling market due to the upcoming change in gaming rules and has sold its UK player database to 32Red.

As a result of the law, GoWild will be leaving the UK on September 15th, 2014. All UK-based player accounts will be migrated to 32 Red, with their usernames and passwords being ported over alongside balances. Players will not have to do anything to continue gaming other than sign in at 32 Red using their GoWild details.

The pullout is the latest in a string for UK serving casino operators. Earlier this week it was announced that all Imperial E-Club and Digimedia casinos were leaving the market. Casino Listings has taken to creating a list of casinos affecting by the change of law, which can be read here:

Commenting on his company's acquisition of GoWild's player database 32Red Commercial Director Matt Booth said, "This acquisition fits well with our growth strategy for the UK market. The migration of players from Go Wild to 32Red is a low-risk and seamless transfer as both businesses utilize the Microgaming platform and games content."

"Players will continue to use the same login and passwords to access their accounts and we will be active in showcasing the 32Red experience to these newly acquired players."
