Bwin Extends FC Bayern Basketball Sponsorship

Internet betting firm Bwin has announced that has opted to extend its sponsorship deal with European basketball team FC Bayern Basketball.

As a result of the deal Bwin will sponsor the team through the 2016 season. Bwin has been a sponsor for the team since FC Bayern was promoted to Germany's Basketball Bundesliga back in 2011.

Commenting on the deal Bwin Head of Sponsorships Daniele Sano said, “The chance to work alongside FC Bayern München brings benefits to us, as it enables us to establish ourselves as one of the leading sport betting companies in Germany and the wider international community."

FCBB CEO Marko Pesic added, “Bwin have been with us since the start. This level of continuity amongst out sponsors is very important. Bwin see us a dynamic partner for their brand and as a result of this we can’t wait to continue our partnership with them."
