Latvia Launches Online Betting Blacklist

The country of Latvia has introduced a blacklist of unlicensed casinos operating within its borders, opening the opportunity that the sites could be blocked by ISPs in the near future.

The list was released by the Latvia Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspectorate, and was formed with the assistance of compacts between itself and fellow countries Estonia and Lithuania.

Sites included on the blacklist are: 888.com, Bet365.com, Betfair.com, Bwin.com, Pokerstars.eu, Unibet.com, Unibet.net Betway.com, Fulltilt, Poker.eu, Pokerstars.com and Williamhill.com, along with others such as Spinpalace.com, Casino.com, Betsson.com, Triobet.com, Betsafe.com, 888games.com, 888play.com, Expekt.com and Casinoeuro.com.
