Law enforcement authorities in Corvina, California have announced that they conducted raids on two internet betting cafes earlier this week, seizing 73 computer sets in the process.
The raids reportedly went down at the Quick Connect and Tel-Expo cafes, which were served with warrants. One person was reported arrested.
Tips about the cafes' dealings came in through the public, who reported that the cafes were operating with a sweepstakes business model, which allows punters to buy cards that they can then use to play online casino games.
The case remains under investigation.
