Internet betting giant Microgaming has announced that it has signed on to sponsor The BiG Foundation's "BiG Sports Dinner" on Wednesday September 10th.
The dinner is being held to raise money for a variety of charities based in the United Kingdom. The dinner is also be attended by other gaming firms such as TAIN, 188Bet, Unibet, Betting Promotion, Paddy Power, AliQuantum and more.
Commenting on the sponsorship Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said, “The BiG Sports Dinner is a unique event within the gaming industry and we are privileged to be a part of it. As a company we are very passionate about sport and charity work, so the BiG Sports Dinner is a natural fit for us. We hope that the event will raise a substantial amount for GamCare and other worthy charities.”
BiG Foundation Co-Director Richard Hogg said, “We are delighted to have Microgaming show such an interest in this inaugural event. The founders believe there is a real need for an organization such as ours within our industry and thus have spent a lot of time, effort in getting the project thus far. It is critical now for the industry to embrace the event and show their support with their attendance."
