Malaysia Crushes Hundreds of Computers in Anti-Online Gambling Stunt

Police in Malaysia conducted an anti-online gambling stunt in the city of Georgetown this week, crushing 752 computers that it seized from illegal online gambling rings.

The intent by police by was to reportedly take the equipment out of circulation for good, although the publicity garnered by pulling such as stunt cannot be overlooked.

Commenting on the matter Timur Laut Police Official Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said, "The computers were seized during 65 raids carried out after investigating the illegal gambling centers."

Illegal gambling is rampant in Malaysia, and police are consistently reporting on the numerous stings they launch to catch perpetrators.

Inside Malaysian police HQ: "Hey boss, what should we do with these hundreds of computers we have seized? Give them to charity, donate them to schools?" "No way man, lets just crush them all! hahhaha"
