This story was published more than 5 years ago.

The Hungarian government has blocked the online betting sites of BetClic, Bet-at-Home, and SportingBet in a temporary measure reportedly tied to tax issues.

The move to block the sites was ordered by the Hungarian Tax Office, and is being acted out by the country's Infocommunications Authority as well as the National Media.

No specific reason was given for the temporary blacklistings, which will take effect in mid-July.
