The state of Delaware has seen its online betting performance fall yet again, this time seeing its May revenues falling 47% from April.
The numbers are not all doom and gloom for Delaware, as gamblers bet $9,026,528 during the month, which was up 66% from April's numbers.
Those numbers were offset by weak win margins by casinos, which only brought in $72,537, which was down from $137,203 won in April. Only 342 new online betting accounts were opened in May, which is a big disappointment.
Delaware's online betting performance has lagged behind Nevada and New Jersey, the only two other states that offer online betting in the United States. This comes as a result of the state's relatively small population, which comes in at just under 1,000,000.
