27 Players Left at WSOP Main Event

The World Series of Poker Main Event wrapped up its sixth day of competition, and only 26 players remain in the hunt after thousands were eliminated.

The current chip leader is Swedish player Martin Jacobson, who holds 22,335,000 in chips while American Luis Velador is in second with 16,600,000. Also in the running are Dan Smith, Bryan Devonshire, Mark Newhouse, Craig McCorkell, and Iaron Lightbourne.

Every player still in the running is guaranteed at least $286,900 in winnings, with the winner set to take home $10,000,000 in prize money.

Day 7 Blinds will be 60,000-120,000 with a 15,000 ante. The average stack is currently sitting at 7,425,556.
