The United States' gambling industry is continuing to grow at a solid rate, as the country's casinos brought in $66.3 billion across 39 states.
The astronomical number is a large improvement on the 2012 numbers, which saw the USA bringing in $65.24 billion. 2013's numbers represented a $1.06 billion improvement.
The states that saw the biggest growth in the betting industry were Florida, Maryland, Ohio, and Maine, as they have all seen the biggest results over 24 months.
Online gambling hasn't really made a dent in the numbers as of yet, but the technology will likely provide future returns as more punters take to the virtual floors via their computers, smartphones, and tablets.
