The state of Nevada has released its latest financial report on its gambling industry, noting that casino revenues and online poker revenues were down in April.

Casino revenues were down to $852 million in April when compared to the state's haul of $854.3 million in April 2013. Online poker fared little better, seeing its revenues fall 14.5% in April to just $792,000.

Online poker has been off to a rough start in the Silver State, delivering underwhelming results. That may change over the course of the next few months though, as the World Series of Poker will draw thousands of poker hungry players to the state's land and online betting realms.
