Spain's gambling regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego is set to meet on Tuesday to discuss the implementation of internet slots within the country.
The meeting will be set to discuss time frames for implementation of the games, technical requirements for operators, and the procedures for getting a license to provide the games.
In other Spanish gaming related news, officials from Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom are discussing player liquidity among internet casinos. Operators in Spain and Italy are dependent on shared players, as each country's population makes profitability harder.
Commenting on the discussions Agenzia delle Dogane e Dei Monopoli Director Fransceco Rhone said: "We are in a process of a preliminary study of a possible international liquidity between Spain, Britain and Italy".
