Police in Cambodia have announced that they have conducted a raid in the Tuol Kork District in the country's capital of Phnom Penh, arresting 15 South Korean nationals.
The raid was meant as a measure to counteract online football betting rings, which run rampant throughout the country. Police also seized computer equipment and other evidence in the raid.
Commenting on the arrests Police Ministry Intelligence Unit Deputy Chief Pov Sopha said, "We detained them for inquiries on the suspicion of online gambling. A number of computers and laptops are seized for a further investigation."
