A task force put together by Mississippi politicians will investigate online gambling and compile a report to discuss the merits of legalizing the act within state borders.
The assembly of the task force was announced by Richard Bennett, the Chairman of the Mississippi House Gaming Committee. He went on to state that the group will review every aspect of online gambling in order to reveal all sides of the issue.
The report will then be used by the state's politicians, who will then use the bill to debate whether or not to legalize online betting in the Hospitality State. The state will also look into legalized sportsbetting, as the activity may be opened to more states after a New Jersey appeal to the Supreme Court.
