The gambling mecca of Macau reported its latest financial results, noting that revenues soared 13% during the month of of March.
Revenues for the month were 35.5 billion patacas, which translates to $4.44 billion USD. The numbers were within industry estimates, which predicted growth of 10-13% for the month.
Macau has continued to see its revenues grow over the course of the several years, with results regularly growing between 10-25% over the same period the year before. These results have allowed the former Portuguese colony to become the largest land casino market in the world.
