Internet betting firm Coral Interactive has announced that it will be leaving the Belgian markets, this according to the firm's Head of Affiliates Anthony Hodgetts.
The announcement was made via email to casino affiliates, and although no reason has been officially given for the pullout, it is suspected that heavy handed tactics from the country's regulator has something to do with the move.
Existing players will not be able to continue playing, as all financial transactions have been cut off. New players will not be able to register accounts.
The move comes on the same day that industry giant Playtech announced that they are not accepting Belgian players anymore, either.
