Internet betting software developer Yggdrasil Gaming has announced that it has launched its first series of games geared toward the Asian market.
The games will include the firm's flagship game Jokerizer and also Winterberries, and will be released in the languages of Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
Commenting on the release Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said, “The launch of our first Asian-facing and Asian language games is a real milestone. The games look great in whatever language they are in but crucially this now means that thousands more players will be able to play our games."
“The decision to localize our content has been driven by customer feedback and a mutual team effort between us and our partners. It’s a pleasure working with clients who demand maximum business development. It pushes us to constantly innovate and means we’re more competitive as a result. We listen very carefully to our partners and react to their needs.”
Other titles eventually making their way to the region include Keno, Scratch Cards, and Parlor Games. Those titles are due for release in March.
