A poll published by the Des Moines Register revealed that only 25% of Iowa residents want to see online gambling legalized in the Hawkeye State.
The poll was conducted by Selzer & Co., an independent polling agency. The study was run through the telephone, and polled 703 Iowans that were 18 years of age or older. There was a 3.7% margin of error built into the poll.
The poll revealed that most of the state's residents don't want to see online gambling legalized, although it is unclear what specific questions were asked in the poll.
