A comment put out by a prominent PokerStars employee this week revealed that the poker giant does not plan to offer an expanded casino game library despite its sister company Full Tilt doing so.
PokerStars Head of Cash and Tournaments Steve Day made the comment on the 2+2 Poker forum, where he said that his company will not follow Full Tilt's foray into casino games, at least for the time being.
Writing on the thread day noted: “There are no plans at this time for casino games in the PokerStars client. I suppose you can never say never, but right now 'We are Poker’ and nothing else.”
Full Tilt Poker recently launched online table games provided by Leander Games, with Blackjack and Roulette currently being offered. It is also being reported that the owner of both poker sites is looking into possible sportsbetting opportunities.
