Malaysian police in Subang Jaya have announced that they conducted six raids on suspected online gambling rings on Thursday, resulting in the seizure of 223 computers.
The raid was the result of a tip by a concerned citizen, and 53 officers took part in the operation. Police had to break through four of the sites, as doors were locked from the inside.
Each of the sites were operating behind a legitimate business, often in the back rooms of the facility.
No arrests were made in the raids, as all of the illegal operators and customers escaped out the back door.
