Sheriff Gaming Has Alderney Gaming License Revoked

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has announced that it has decided to pull the gaming license of Sheriff Gaming parent corporation Bubble Group NV, after the regulatory body found that the software developer was “...no longer fit and proper to hold such a certificate.”

Bubble initially had its license suspended by Alderney last September after the group had action taken against it by law enforcement in Holland. The group's owners were alleged to have been involved in drug dealing, illegal gambling, and money laundering operations.

Following those allegations, four people associated with Bubble were arrested, while much of the group's assets were seized, including real estate and bank accounts.

Sheriff has denied all allegations, but was declared bankrupt earlier this week by a Dutch court.
