New Jersey Online Betting Draws Punters Back From Offshore

A survey conducted by New Jersey based Commercial Intelligence is reporting that legalized and regulated online gambling is bringing New Jersey punters back in from using offshore online casinos.

The survey was reported by the website Philly.com, which reported that 37% of online gamblers have moved from offshore sites back to using licensed New Jersey online casinos since the industry launched last year.

The survey questioned 505 of the Garden State's online gamblers, and noted that 35% of them were completely new to online gambling.

In the comments section of the study, Commercial Intelligence claims that their survey presents "...a compelling fiscal case study for states seeking to cut their budget deficits."
