Isle of Man based internet betting software developer Microgaming has announced that it has signed a deal with Universal Partnerships & Licensing, which will allow the group to design slots based on the film franchise Jurassic Park.
The Jurassic Park slot will make its debut at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference in London next month, and will be a 5 reel, 243 ways to win game. There will be five different free spin modes which are unlocked when the player reveals dinosaur DNA.
Jurassic Park was a blockbuster film directed by Steven Spielberg released in 1993, which was lauded for cutting edge special effects.
Commenting on the deal Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said, “Jurassic Park is a seminal movie - its stunning visual effects and computer-generated imagery set a new benchmark in the industry. It’s a film that we can draw parallels from in terms of our game creation and our aim to deliver the most visionary and imaginative gaming experiences to the end player. The Jurassic Park brand is legendary, and our game development team is busy creating an all-mighty slot for release later in the year."
