Pennsylvania Politician Considering Online Gambling Ban

A Pennsylvania politician has announced that that he plans to introduce a bill that would outlaw internet gambling in his state, a sharp move that would set the state at odds with neighboring states New Jersey and Delaware, who have already legalized the activity.

The announcement was made by Pennyslvania State Senator Mike Stack, who said that online gambling would create a risk for the state's land casinos, which have become a significant source of cash for the state's economy.

The move will likely come in favor with most of the state's population, as a recent survey showed that the majority of Pennsylvania do not approve of gambling expansion within the Keystone State.

The bill to outlaw online gambling in Pennsylvania comes after the state took a long look at legalizing the measure in order to compete with nearby states who have set themselves up to offer online betting.
