New Jersey Online Betting Registration Numbers Continue To Rise

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the latest numbers on the state's online betting registrations, noting that 20,000 punters registered accounts within the last week.

With those numbers added, there are now 91,531 online gambling accounts registered in the state of New Jersey. The number may not be the total number of players active though, as some accounts were registered out of state and some players have registered accounts at more than one casino.

The number of accounts makes New Jersey the most active regulated online betting market in the United States. Nevada and Delaware, who each have their own online betting markets, have struggled to build a large player pool due to smaller populations.

The number of New Jersey betting accounts should continue to rise at a steady clip, as the Golden Nugget casino in Atlantic City just entered the online market late last week.
