UK based gambling firm H2 Gambling Capital has published its latest mobile gambling study, noting that the segment of the industry continues to grow at a staggering rate and will generate €19 billion in revenue by 2018.
That number is a large jump from what the industry recorded last year, when €4.5 billion was taken in by mobile gaming operators. Mobile betting currently constitutes of 22% of the online gaming industry's revenues. That number is expected to jump to 44% by 2018.
Mobile betting has increased significantly over the past few years, as smartphones and tablet technology have allowed punters the ability to play complex slot and table games through their devices.
