US betting giant Bally Technologies has announced that it has signed a three year content supply deal with internet casino operator Vera & John, providing the casino with its library of casino games.

Canadian internet betting firm Amaya Gaming has released its third quarter 2013 financial results, noting an increase in revenues, but posted an overall loss of $3.5 million due to its many recent acquisitions.

Politicians in Singapore are considering adopting a law which would make it illegal for betting sites to offer gambling services to residents, as well as also clamp down on gambling marketing and financial transactions.

In total, the state brought in $954 million in winnings last month. The Las Vegas Strip contributed $551 million of that total, which was down 5% from October of 2012. Downtown Vegas brought in $47 million, down 3%.

The city of Reno saw its casinos drop by a more modest 1% (bringing in $43 million), while South Lake Tahoe had revenues drop by 23% to $12 million.

In all, the state actually brought in more money for the month of October, notching $61 million in tax revenue for the month.

UK based gambling firm H2 Gambling Capital has published its latest mobile gambling study, noting that the segment of the industry continues to grow at a staggering rate and will generate €19 billion in revenue by 2018.
