UK based internet betting firm Skybet has released its first quarter financial results, noting a 20% growth in revenues for the period ending September 30th, 2013.
The company's revenues were up 20% from the same period in 2012, reaching £32 million for the quarter. Additionally, Skybet brought in more than 500,000 new customers for the period, and boasts an active player increase of 20%.
Skybet Managing Director Richard Flint attributed the company's gains to Skybet's mobile betting site, noting that the app has already taken in more than one million bets. Additionally, Skybet's growth came somewhat at the expense of its rivals in the markets, even if sports betting numbers were not quite what were expected.
