Online Gambling Raid Conducted In Malta

Law enforcement authorities in Malta have announced that they have conducted a raid on six locations thought to be connected to illegal online gambling.

The raid was carried out by Malta's Criminal Investigations Department and Rapid Intervention Unit and resulted in eleven people being interrogated. Additionally, €46,000 in cash was seized as well as a large number of computers.

Names of those connected to the alleged gambling ring have not been made public by Malta authorities.
