Cyprus Police Conduct Internet Betting Raid

Law enforcement authorities in Cyprus have announced that they have raided two internet cafes this week on suspicions of illegal online gambling taking place, seizing 72 computers in the process.

The raids took place in Limassol, and involved the CID, electronic data forensic laboratory, and crime prevention units. No arrests were made during the raids, as police are waiting for evidence to be analyzed before issuing any charges.

In all, 72 computers were taken from the spots as well as other evidence which will be used to investigate the case.
