UK based betting firm Betfair has announced that it has launched a preliminary communications channel for the state of New Jersey under the label "Let's Play NJ".
The group's sites betfairnj.com and letsplaynj.com were launched with the goal of making New Jersey residents aware of the state's November 26th launch date, and allows for users to register for updates on Betfair's attempts to get a New Jersey internet gaming license.
Betfair is hoping to be a part of New Jersey's real money gaming push, which is set to begin on November 26th after a five day trial period. The group is currently waiting to clear all of the hurdles in order to be awarded a license by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Betfair is speculated to be involved in a partnership with Trump Plaza, which would allow the group to offer its casino and poker games to players geographically located within New Jersey's borders.
