Caesars Interactive Nevada poker site WSOP.com went live for some customers Tuesday, bringing real money play to those who registered for an account earlier in the year.
The opening was valid for more than 12,000 people who registered a WSOP account earlier this year and are located in Nevada at the time of play. Those eligible for the early launch were informed through an email, which prompted them to download the latest software. When this was accomplished, the registrants were able to deposit and play Sit'n Go games, cash games, and MTT tournaments.
WSOP.com is the real money site for the World Series of Poker, one of gambling's biggest brands. The site is Nevada's second legal online poker site, following Ultimate Poker, which launched earlier this year. The software will afford Nevada located players to partake in Omaha, Stud, and Hold'em games.
The official launch date for the poker site is Thursday.
