Interwetten Releases Half Year Results

This story was published more than 10 years ago.

Austrian online betting firm Interwetten has announced that it has released its first half 2013 financial results, noting higher revenues and revealed that mobile betting now accounts for 40% of money brought in.

Key financial indicators for the half released by the sportsbetting firm were:

  • Profits rose more than 100% to €2.2 million, up from €1 million.

  • Revenues up 9% from the same period last year to €19.7 million.

A likely key contributing factor to the large mobile revenues is that Interwetten introduced a mobile casino app during the first quarter of the year.

Founded in 1990, Interwetten is widely known for its sportsbetting offerings. The group expanded its casino offerings in 2004 and is licensed in Malta.
