The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released Atlantic City's land casino revenues for the month of August, noting that monthly revenues fell 4.8% when compared to the same period in 2012.

Revenues totaling $298.1 million, down 4.8% from the same period last year.
Year to date revenues of $1,973,173,496, down from $2,165,233,990 during August of 2012.
Predicted online gaming revenues of $2.7 billion for the year, down for the seventh consecutive year.
The numbers represent a flagging gambling market for the coastal gaming town. It is hoped that online gambling will help bring additional revenues to the market when it launches on November 23rd.
